Ingredients

  • 150g Tuna Steak

  • 100g Quinoa

  • Radish

  • Olive oil

  • Butter

  • Himalayan salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation

  1. Before cooking your quinoa, make sure that you properly wash it first. Once the quinoa has been properly rinsed, put in a pot with water and boil for 15 minutes. You’ll know the quinoa is cooked when it looks like it has popped open. Once you have achieved this, set it aside.

  2. On a chopping board, cut radish into thin slices then set aside.

  3. To prepare your tuna steak, place it on a wide chopping board and season it with salt and pepper on both sides. Try to evenly distribute the salt and pepper for better taste quality.

  4. Next, drizzle both sides of the tuna steak with olive oil. Make sure that the tuna steak is well-coated with the oil before cooking it on a pan.

  5. Place the tuna steak on a pan over medium heat and cook each side for two minutes. Be very careful not to overcook your tuna steak as this can affect its taste and quality. Once cooked, remove from heat and set aside.

  6. Put the butter into the pan. Once it starts to melt and form a foam, add the radish. Stir occasionally until soft.

  7. Transfer cooked radish to Karma lunch box and season with salt and pepper. Place the tuna steak on top and drizzle with some olive oil and lemon juice for that extra nutritional punch and zest.

  8. Serve with a healthy salad and quinoa.
